Become an eco-artist at the Ah Haa this summer! Where do insects live? Why are flowers different colors? Can all birds fly? Each day a Pinhead scientist will teach kids how nifty nature can be & how field science is conducted. Get ready for outside adventures and activities to show you how to observe the natural world around us! Then, students will spend the afternoons gathering materials from outside to create our nature-themed art! Projects will include recycled creations, leaf prining, track molds, bark rubbing, a scavenger hunt and so much more! Dress for a mess!
- Please send along a beverage and healthy snack for the mid-class break. Also, keep in mind that although we do provide aprons, some paints and dyes cannot be removed. So please, dress for a mess! If you're signing up for full days, please send a sack lunch and sunscreen with your child.
