Home to the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls (the largest waterfall) and the Shona culture Zimbabwe is full of art including pottery, sculpture, jewelry and carvings, which are often recognized by their symmetrical qualities. Many modern day musician, painters and writers have fused the many historical influences, including African folklore and European influences, from Zimbabwe into their current works. Artists from this great land go beyond the visual and include writers and poets. Come take a cultural journey through Zimbabwe with us and learn about it’s remarkable art and artists.
- Drop off starts at 8:00 am. Need full day? Add Afternoon Adventures from 2 - 5:30 pm.
- Performing Track includes a dance, chorus, and theater class.
- DAC provides a fresh fruit snack. If your camper has food allergies to fruit, please pack a snack. Please pack your campers a brown bag lunch (no refrigerator or microwave available).
