The primary goal of the Michigan Certified Public ManagerĀ® program is to foster and encourage the highest possible levels of performance and ethical practice of public and non-profit sector managers in order to effectively provide services and continuously improve the performance of state, local and federal government and of the non-profit sector.

Instructor -- Terry King
Terry is the CEO of Action Leaders Inc; a consulting, training, and coaching organization that helps small businesses outpace their competition and business leaders transform themselves into vibrant, self-confident, value driven achievers. Before establishing Action Leaders, Terry spent 10 years as a human resources innovator and trendsetter, as well as 5 years as a paramedic. Terry also has 9 years experience as a customer service manager, training employees to deliver the highest standards of performance. Terry is no stranger to helping people. He has spent over 18 years as an innovator and corporate leader, training, motivating and guiding people into rewarding careers. Terry is an energetic and dynamic motivational speaker. Terry does and has served on several boards in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Instructor -- Monica Reyes
Monica Reyes, CPM is Director for Office of Continuing Ed & Professional Development at SVSU. OCEPD offers services including: Professional Development Courses, Leadership and Team Development, Customized Training and New Career Training Programs. Mrs. Reyes earned her B.A. and M.B.A. from SVSU and a CBSP from Michigan State University. Here background includes: Human Resource Management & Development, Project Development & Implementation, Organizational Development & Management, Research, Policy & Procedure Development, Budgeting & Financial Management, Benefit Coordination and Administration, Leadership & Supervisory Development, Training and Staff Development Facilitating & Coordinating Labor Relations and Negotiations.

Instructor -- Danilo Sirias
Dr. Danilo Sirias, Ph.D., Business Administration, University of Memphis; M.S., Industrial & Systems Engineering, University of Memphis; B.S., Industrial Engineering, National University of Engineering (Nicaragua). Professor Sirias specializes in Theory of Constraints application to management skills, production, supply chain managment, marketing & sales. Sirias has co-author the book "Bridging the Boomer Xer Gap," and has been published in several journals.
