For people interested in a solid orientation to event planning. Gain the key components of successful events to understand the planning cycle and anticipate the many challenges to creating a great event. Experienced planners can also gain more information by filling in gaps and refreshing their knowledge.

This is the first course in The George Washington University (GWU) Event Management Certificate Program. GWU is the founding member of the International Consortium of Event Management Programs.
