RISE is a unique cancer exercise program designed specifically for people suffering from fatigue and loss of strength that can result from surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.
This four week class covers several different modes of exercise to promote total body wellness. The focus is on functional strength conditioning using free weights that is appropriate to the individual while offering the support of a small group setting. This class also includes targeted exercise for improvement in balance and flexibility along with restorative relaxation techniques. Individuals attend class three days per week for a total of 12 classes.
Does NOT need a physician referral.

Instructor -- Nancy Baldwin CES,CPT, ICPFE
Nancy is a certified exercise specialist and health educator who works on the development, implementation and facilitation of programs that meet the health and wellness needs of our community. A featured speaker, group facilitator and community outreach educator, she has devoted herself to the health, well being and support of patients and their families. Nancy lives in the Salem area with her husband and three children who enjoy camping, biking, music and art.
