The next level in strength recovery, this integrated group exercise class brings together flexibility, stabilization, and resistance forms of training within the comfort of a health education setting. This five week class can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual while providing the encouragement and motivation that comes from working within a group. In just 45 minutes two times per week participants have fun building the strength and confidence needed to live a healthier happier life.
Who should attend:
• Former RISE cancer patients
• Individuals who have completed cardiac or other forms of rehab
• Bariatric patients who do not feel comfortable in a gym setting
Instructor -- Nancy Baldwin
Nancy Baldwin is a certified cancer exercise specialist and personal trainer with over 17 years experience in the health and fitness industry. A former facilitator of the Oregon Health Sciences University/Lance Armstrong Foundation Clinical Trials for research with breast and prostate cancer patients, she now works on development and implementation of programs that meet the health and wellness needs of our community. A featured speaker and community outreach sponsor, she has devoted herself to the health, well being, and support of patients and their families. Nancy resides in Keizer Oregon with her husband and three children who enjoy camping, biking, music and art.
