Ceramics Handbuilding Construction and Form with Kate (Heiman) Buzzell. In this hand-building class, Kate will focus on template design while utilizing soft and hard slab construction, slump, and hump molds, and pinch and coil techniques. Students will learn the following: rolling out slabs by hand and using the slab roller, the use of template design for hard slab construction, use of extruder to create shapes, coils, handles and more, stamps and rollers to add texture to soft slab construction, underglaze and glaze decoration. All supplies are included in the cost of your class. All you have to bring is your creativity and desire to learn something new!
