Join Instructor Kate Buzzell for this fun screen printing workshop and decorate a tote bag with your very own unique design! In this workshop, we will plan our designs before cutting them out of vinyl and transferring them to our screens. Come with ideas or think of some with the help of your instructor. Feel free to bring your own items as well if you would like to print your design more than once!

Kate Teaches: Art, Ceramics, Summer Camps, and Outreach Programs
Kate (Heiman) Buzzell is a mixed-media contemporary sculptor, ceramicist, jewelry designer, and 171 Cedar Arts Center’s gallery assistant. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Concentration in Ceramics. After college, Kate moved to Los Angeles where she put her sculpting and design skills toward creating unique music videos before going to Atlanta and working in the Atlanta film industry as a sculptor and set decorator. She enjoys using mixed media to combine realism and abstraction to demonstrate the relationship between the beauty of our world and our imaginations.
