Join instructor Kate Buzzell for this two-day workshop to create a beautifully unique addition to your home that everyone will want to know more about! These decorative corner brackets are the perfect addition to an empty doorway or window allowing light to pass through your carved designs. In this two-day workshop, you will learn how to prep your clay slabs, create templates, transfer them to your clay slab, and cut, carve, and etch your gorgeous designs into the clay.

Kate Teaches: Art, Ceramics, Summer Camps, and Outreach Programs
Kate (Heiman) Buzzell is a mixed-media contemporary sculptor, ceramicist, jewelry designer, and 171 Cedar Arts Center’s gallery assistant. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Concentration in Ceramics. After college, Kate moved to Los Angeles where she put her sculpting and design skills toward creating unique music videos before going to Atlanta and working in the Atlanta film industry as a sculptor and set decorator. She enjoys using mixed media to combine realism and abstraction to demonstrate the relationship between the beauty of our world and our imaginations.
