Choreography for Teens | Winter/Spring
Dance | Available
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of choreography for performance. This class will work collaboratively to co-choreograph a piece to perform for 171's Spring Dance Recital. We will be learning tools to generate material, structure a dance, and learn the powerful impact of music. Students will need to have regular attendance to have their dance be sufficiently prepared for the recital performance.
Students must be currently enrolled in at least one other dance technique class of any genre to support their learning.
Attire: Form-fitting dance wear such as a leotard and footless tights or a dance tank top with dance pants/leggings/dance shorts. Bare feet.
