Teen Intensive - Jewelry Making with Kate Heiman

Join 171 instructor and jewelry artist, Kate Heiman, this summer for a week of jewelry design and creation! In this week, we will learn the basics of jewelry making including beading, wire wrapping, creating your own unique metal frames and shapes, connecting jewelry components, and the proper use of tools every jeweler should own.

For those returning from last summer's camp, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills, try new projects, and find your personal style!

Some projects to look forward to include:

  • Crystal cabochon pendants
  • Tiny book jewelry
  • Wire wrapped rings
  • Earring studs and dangly earrings
  • Hammered charms with beading
  • Wire wrapped Bracelets

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, 171 reserves the right to make any necessary changes to our summer camp programming or to cancel a session due to low enrollment.
