“Aaaahh…The intoxicating small of the graveyard. Once a year, we gather beneath our Family Tree, to honor the great cycle of life and death. Come, every member of our clan – living, dead – and undecided – and let us celebrate what it is to be an Addams.”

And so, our annual theater production begins! 171 Cedar Arts Center’s theater department is excited to announce that we are producing a musical this year: The Addams Family - young@part®!

Our first school year-long class for ages 9-14 is a wonderful opportunity for new thespians to join an established theater program and perform a world-famous musical production.

Students in the class will audition for parts in the performance, and then the exciting year with Kali McCracken and Sage Ulrich begins! They will develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills while building confidence through a variety of fun theater activities, working on scene studies, developing stage presence, and learning to focus on their character’s personality and physical characteristics. Individual attention will nurture the talents, curiosity, and energy of each student.

Through this licensed theatrical production, students will have the opportunity to perform a professionally choreographed musical. We are so excited for the May 2026 performances. They will be more “goody-licious than gold!”

This class includes:

  • 28 weeks of class
  • Rehearsal week: After School (times TBD) from Tuesday, May 26 to Friday, May 29
  • Two performances: Saturday, May 30 & Sunday, May 31

The cost of the class includes a show logo t-shirt!

The Addams Family - young@part®” is presented through special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials are supplied by Theatrical Rights Worldwide, 1180 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 640, New York, NY 10036. www.theatricalrights.com
