Cooking & Tasting with Brud Holland Series | 2026
Join us in 2026 from January to May for this year’s five-part series: Cooking & Tasting with Brud! Brud Holland, Fox Run Vineyard’s Chef and longtime culinary instructor brings his easygoing style together with new recipes, new wines, and some fascinating background on both the food scene and winemaking in the Finger Lakes. Classes will include recipes, a demonstration of cooking the recipes, and a tasting of the food along with the wine pairing. Brud will share tips, tricks, and interesting nuggets of information that will provide new insights into the wide-ranging culture of winemaking in the Finger Lakes: how different landscapes of vineyard sites affect grapes, comparing conditions on the eastern and western shores of many Finger Lakes vineyards, and what ultimately ends up in the bottle!

Get ready for warmer weather as Brud pairs 3 seasonal salads with 3 dynamite Finger Lakes wines: New Vines Winery’s Gruner Veltiner, Anthony Road Wine Company’s Gewurztraminer & Billsboro Winery’s Chardonnay. Brud will be making :
- Couscous with Seneca Grain chick peas & vegetables
- Spelt freekah with grilled strip steak, Anasazi beans & black garlic
- Arugula, shallot & HVF smoked trout with boiled eggs
