Acrylic Mediums and Painting Workshop
In this workshop with painter and art instructor, Stefan Zoller, students will experiment with a variety of acrylic painting media, including; heavy body and fluid acrylic paint, gels, pouring mediums, image transfers, and molding pastes. Students will also make a field trip to the Houghton Gallery to see examples of the artist/instructor's work to better illustrate the wide range of acrylic mediums. Following demonstrations from the instructor, students will work with the acrylic media listed above, experimenting with different application techniques and methods. Students will leave the workshop with 5-7 small canvas panels of their work.
Note: students who wish to bring their own image(s) to transfer are welcome to do so. Images printed on a laserjet printer or photocopier work best.
All supplies are included in the cost of the class.
