Teen Art Makers: Jewelry | Fall 1

Teen Makers will be a 2-hour class led by teacher Kate Buzzell. Students will learn the basics of crafting jewelry, including beading, wire shaping and wrapping, and much more. Plan projects to create beautiful jewelry compositions! Each class students wil learn a new skill to help with your own personal project throughout the course. See examples of possible projects below.
All supplies are included in the cost of the class.

Kate Buzzell
Kate Teaches: Art, Ceramics, Summer Camps, and Outreach Programs
Kate (Heiman) Buzzell is a mixed-media contemporary sculptor, ceramicist, jewelry designer, and 171 Cedar Arts instructor of Multi-Arts & Ceramics. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Concentration in Ceramics. After college, Kate moved to Los Angeles where she put her sculpting and design skills toward creating unique music videos before going to Atlanta and working in the Atlanta film industry as a sculptor and set decorator. She enjoys using mixed media to combine realism and abstraction to demonstrate the relationship between the beauty of our world and our imaginations.
