In this fun, interactive teen night, artist & instructor Kate Buzzell will help students learn the art of bookbinding by making a personalized journal that can be used for future journaling, sketching, painting, and more!

Kate Teaches: Art, Ceramics, Summer Camps, and Outreach Programs
Kate (Heiman) Buzzell is a mixed-media contemporary sculptor, ceramicist, jewelry designer, and 171 Cedar Arts instructor of Multi-Arts & Ceramics. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Concentration in Ceramics. After college, Kate moved to Los Angeles where she put her sculpting and design skills toward creating unique music videos before going to Atlanta and working in the Atlanta film industry as a sculptor and set decorator. She enjoys using mixed media to combine realism and abstraction to demonstrate the relationship between the beauty of our world and our imaginations.
