To state the obvious, the place of the United States on the world stage is undergoing significant changes. This course will engage the participants in discussions of some of the most pressing issues around US foreign policy. ALL has offered the FPA Great Decisions course for many years, and we hope to offer the 2026 version in the ALL Spring and Fall sessions. However, a number of ALL members have asked for a winter session to continue to have a place for more in- depth and nuanced readings and conversations about national and international issues than they find on network and cable television.  The course will provide readings and videos from the researched and reliable sources, guest presenters-- and provide a place for discussion of some of these more pressing issues. Come join us for this engaging course!!!
