A Horse Designed by a Committee: The Electoral College (In-person)

Fall (4-8 hours) | FULL (Membership Required)

They say a camel is a horse designed by a committee. Well, breaking news: How we elect our Presidents was designed by a committee…and it is an odd and not terribly approachable creature. In this course, we will learn about how the Founders settled on the Electoral College, the times… four in over 200 years…it has created a genuine headache, and how the Electoral College will or may determine who our next President will be.

The class will consist of two Power Point lectures, with opportunities for questions, comments, and discussion.

  • There are no required books for this course.
