Join Osher on Friday, May 2 and spend the day walking the halls of the MFA. Our entry time for the Art in Bloom exhibit will either be 11:00 AM or 11:30 AM. You have plenty of time to explore other exhibits at the MFA if you wish! Spend time viewing Masterpieces of Egyptian Sculpture from the Pyramid Age, visit the Dutch and Flemish Art space, or enjoy the Art of the Americas exhibit, to name just a few.
For lunch, you may stop in at the New American Cafe, which is à la carte dining, located on Level 1. Alternatively, you could visit the Garden Cafeteria for comfort food, sandwiches, salads, and snacks. Head to Level G and finish out the day by making a stop at Taste, where you will find coffee, sweet and savory bites, as well as beer and wine!
We are happy to stop at the New London Park & Ride for any registrants from the New London or Grantham area. Please email the office at osher@dartmouth.edu to let us know that is where you wish to board the bus.
The price of this day trip includes round-trip bus transportation and your entrance ticket to the MFA; you are responsible for all other expenses, including refreshments.
Just announced: Throughout the weekend, local designer Jimmy Guzman invites visitors to assist him as he builds botanical pieces in Gallery 168. This community installation allows visitors to participate in and ask questions about the many tasks that go into professionally designing flowers.
The registration fee for this trip is non-refundable.
