Regarding Hitchcock - RIT (Zoom)

Spring (14 hrs or more) | Available (Membership Required)

Is Alfred Hitchcock the greatest film director of all time? He was certainly one of the most influential. His legacy is “primarily dictated by his pioneering innovations in cinematic grammar.” But it may be the content of his films – how he explores our “darker impulses”– that continues to disturb and fascinate viewers as well as demand and reward repeated viewings. We will examine his life and early works including such films as The Pleasure Garden, The Lodger, and Blackmail.
