"Poetic Passages: A Summer Writing Group"


This six-week Special Interest Group grew out of the Spring 2025, Osher Poetry Writing course, led by Stephen Hackman and is open to all Osher members. The group will meet every two weeks for a total of six sessions!  The first meeting is:  Monday, June 30 at 1:00 PM, at 1 Court Street in Lebanon, Suite 250, Room 2A.

 

The format is informal and welcoming. Participants will generate a list of writing prompts to inspire their poetry and will share their work for discussion and feedback at each session.  Osher Membership is required.  There is no cost for the Special Interest Group.

Ellen Jonsson received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. Although photography has been an avocation, in addition to group shows, she presented solo exhibits in Oklahoma at the Firehouse Art Center, the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum, the Individual Artists of Oklahoma Gallery, and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. Since moving to Vermont, she had a solo exhibit at the Howe Library’s Ledyard Gallery.
