Meet Madame G (Gloria Finkelstein) at the Atrium at the Hood Museum. Join the group for fresh baguettes, croissant + Cafe + practice French conversation. We’ll then take a French Promenade inside the Hood Museum. The special main attraction is to see the two Claude Monet pieces on display. We’ll discuss the life and times of the artist. Bring your Giverney travel stories to share. We’ll also stroll inside the museum to see other exhibits. We’ll learn easy musée French Vocabulaire.

 

  • There are no required books for this course.

    There is a $10 fee for the pre-museum refreshments.

Gloria Finkelstein

Gloria Finkelstein grew up in Montreal, lived in Paris, and has frequently traveled to France. She is the creator of “French Club with Madame G,” an innovative learning-by-doing immersive language arts program. Gloria enjoys helping others discover and experience French culture and lifestyle via Upper Valley French-themed workshops, events, and trips via Zoom/in person. Recent Active French Osher classes include: Interactive French Dialogues; La Belle Provence - Que Canada; Fun French Musical Jukebox, French Inventions, and French Tartines.
