How to Manage Your Retirement Plan During Volatility? (HyFlex: Zoom)

Fall (2-3 hours) | Registration opens 7/29/2025 12:00 AM EDT

THIS IS FOR THE ZOOM VERSION OF THIS COURSE.

People dream of retirement but often don’t know what to do when the markets are volatile. Do you do nothing? Do you change everything? We will spend four weeks reviewing how to create or check up on your retirement plan during good times and bad. We will get into the details of reviewing a budget, to different types of expenses that can arise in retirement and all the income options you have available to you and how to maximize them. The goal is to know you can sleep well at night and not worry about where your retirement income will come from.

There is no required reading for this course. This interactive four-week course will be tailored to individual circumstances. You will learn to answer the big question: How should my plan change once I am in retirement? How to best review without making emotional decisions? We’ll cover how to best review and manage your own assets, go over some of the common pitfalls that snag individual investors, and how best to avoid them. If you are contemplating retirement, we will answer questions like how much is enough and when can I retire.

This course will consist of discussions between the Study Leader and participants.
