The Sámi at Rauner Special Collections in Webster Hall
Speaker: Kent Randell
Join Kent Randell and walk a winding path through the items at Rauner Special Collections which intersect with the the Sámi people of Northern Europe, including a 17th Century text regarded as the first work of serious Sociology up through the surprising connection between a Sámi joik, a poem by Longfellow, and Robert Frost’s first published poetry collection.
