The Equanimous Life: Practical Skills for Clarity, Steadiness, and Emotional Resilience in a Changing World

This is the Zoom registration option for this course!

Equanimity is often described as calm in the midst of change or difficulty, but it can be far more than a momentary state. It can be cultivated as a reliable inner capacity that supports clarity, emotional balance, and greater continuity of awareness.

Rooted in the classical foundations of mindful awareness, this course introduces core skills for sharpening attention, deepening emotional resilience, and stabilizing awareness in real time.

We will use guided exercises, brief discussions, and simple at-home practices to recognize the first signs of reactivity, shift out of automatic patterns, and meet challenges with greater clarity and composure.

No background in meditation is required.

The course will combine lecture, guided exercises, and class discussions.

  • There are no required books for this course.
