Title: The Digital Defense Circle: Outsmarting Scams and Hacks

Coordinator: Dave Smith, email:  dbsmith001@gmail.com

Despite the proliferation of warnings about scams, it only takes a moment of distraction to be victimized. Modern "human hacking" uses sophisticated psychological triggers to bypass our better judgment. This group provides a supportive, non-judgmental space to share experiences, analyze real-world case studies, and build the practical "digital muscle memory" needed to protect ourselves and our families.

We will expand our technical skills, demystify AI-enhanced fraud, and deconstruct the tactics of social engineering. By becoming an informed, vigilant community, we can gain confidence and stay one step ahead of the bad guys.

The group will meet for an initial session on Thursday, June 18, 1 PM, 1 Court Street, Suite 25o, Room 2A.  We will discuss our goals and decide on a future meeting schedule.

The only requirement to join a SIG is that one needs to be a current member of Osher.
