Two generations of Viennese composers produced some of the most memorable music of the 19th Century despite a family atmosphere riven with tension, feuds, and jealousy. Through personal and political chaos, the Strauss family composed hundreds of waltzes and polkas that remain favorites. Dr. David Bisno and a small chamber orchestra led by Daniel Weiser, the artistic director of Classicopia, will weave the Strauss family story into a dynamic narrative featuring classic compositions by both the elder and younger generations of the Strauss family.
