Summer is for the enjoyment of flowers. We will learn how to observe different flora and receive instruction in different techniques of watercolor media to depict them. We will choose how flowers can best be combined and composed. We will look at past and present masters of flower painting for inspiration. Some experience with drawing or watercolor is required. Students should bring their own materials. Some handouts will be given.

There are no required textbooks for this course.

Semprebon, Ann

Ann Semprebon received her B.A. and M.A in art from UCLA. She has taught art to all ages in public schools and other institutions. She has lengthy experience in painting and growing flowers in her home Garden Studio.
