Gardens and flowers have been a source for pleasure and subject matter through the ages. Through slides and discussion we will explore the cultural significance of gardens ancient to contemporary,the garden as an art form, unusual gardens created by artists and art structures created for the garden. The movie Painting The Modern Garden: From Monet To Matisse will be shown the last session.

Semprebon, Ann

Ann Semprebon received her B.A. and M.A in art from UCLA. She has taught art to all ages in public schools and other institutions. She has lengthy experience in painting and growing flowers in her home Garden Studio.
