This course is for students who have been using their iPads for basic tasks (email) and who wish to maximize their iPad’s potential. Students are not required to have extensive computer knowledge but should feel comfortable using a few apps. The class will focus on tips and tricks to get the most out of your iOS device, including how to soft reset, adjust settings, save battery, and more. Students will learn about Safari, iTunes, the App Store, Photos, and the iCloud family of services, including FaceTime and Messenger. Class will be small for hands-on practice. Students are encouraged to bring questions. Each student must have an iPad, wireless access at home, an Apple ID and Password, and an email account. This class is offered in collaboration with Best Buy.

Williams, Cassandra

Cassandra Williams is the Mobile Supervisor for Best Buy in West Lebanon. She has been with the company for over 9 years and has wide-ranging experience dealing with computers, phones, and other tech! She was previously a repair agent for Geek Squad and is iOS certified. She recently taught the Study Leader workshops on both Keynote and Intro to Mac for OSHER@Dartmouth.
