Baseball has played a major role in America for over 100 years. Using PowerPoint presentations, discussion, pictures and video, we will focus on how baseball and specific individuals have influenced our culture over time. More than just history, we will also look at baseball economics, the increased use of sabermetrics, training, and other topics of interest to students.

Hutchins, Rick

Rick Hutchins has taught over 60 different courses/workshops at the college level in his teaching/coaching career, first in the field of health and physical education, and later in the computing field. He previously coached eight different sports (primarily college level), and was an Athletic Director at Plymouth State College, and later Hanover High School. He currently serves as a computer consultant, website developer, Treasurer of the Goose Pond Lake Association, teacher, and photographer.
