The Beatles crashed into America on the “Ed Sullivan Show” in 1964 and influenced popular music forever. With 17 songs hitting number one and 19 albums at number one, the Beatles are still revered and played 54 years later. Using PowerPoint, pictures, video, and music, this course will explore the rise of this band, their trials and tribulations, the ultimate break-up, and the lasting power of their music for over three generations of listeners.
