From Snapshot to Wall Art
Winter (9 - 13.5 hours) | This course is completed
No matter what kind of camera you use— phone camera, digital SLR, oneshot, even an old 35 mm or 4x5 film camera— the photographs you create can be images that make you proud to display them and share them with friends and others.
This course will use a combination of training in the art of creating an interesting and exciting image, weekly assignments to challenge you to create images that expand your technical and artistic boundaries and stretch your imagination, and weekly critiques that allow you to share the best of your work with other members of the class and get feedback, encouragement, and constructive advice that stretches your muscle memory and challenges your innovative spirit.
Wayne King
Author, writer, artist, businessman, out-doorsman, Iroquois, Abenaki, musician, and recovering politician; all of these describe Wayne. His images are a celebration of life, blending the real and the surreal to achieve a sense of place or time that reaches beyond the moment into what he calls “a dream-like quintessentialism” designed to spark an emotional response.
