Study Leader Workshop

12/2/2020-12/9/2020

2:00 PM-3:00 PM EDT on Wed

To assist you in preparing for this class, we have provided a link to the setup / test pages from the conference provider. If you have never used this conference service before please click on the link below so that your PC or device will be ready to participate in this class.

In this Google Slides workshop, we will get you started building your presentation; choosing a theme or template and colors, adding content such as text, images and video, editing the content and finally presenting your presentation. You bring the class content, we will help you build the slideshow.

Why Google slides?

With Google Slides, it is easier to import graphics and videos; Google images and Google Youtube insert seamlessly into Google Slides.

With Google Slides, all fonts, images, videos, animations etc. are stored online (in the cloud) so your lectures/presentations will look the same on every computer. You can also download the presentation to your computer as a back up.

In order to use Google Drive, you must have a Google account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one, at no charge, using your current email, by signing up at https://accounts.google.com/signup. You don’t have to use Google’s Gmail services; you just need to have an account. Please take care of this before the workshop.
