Americans know all about how the West was won; schools told them. Americans don’t seem to know what this continent was really like before the Europeans got here. Was this deliberate to keep us in the dark?
This course will attempt to cover 50,000 years. The biggest ancient site is a city, in the 1200s, that had a larger population than London. We will explore some of these amazing sites, and the way of life of the inhabitants. All maps and pictures will be available online to view, download, or print. We will not only dwell on these issues but examine where these folks came from. We find clues in origin legends and advances in the biological sciences.
We will examine the evidence of a written language, its origins, and how and when it arrived here, as well as certain roots in Eastern tribal languages that point at their origin. We will look at the land as it was when the ocean levels were 400 feet lower than now; and maybe speculate where the folks on the fabled Islands of Atlantis and Mu ended up when the islands miraculously disappeared. There is no specific text to read, but I will provide you with a list of interesting books that you can deal with at your leisure.
