Join Sommelier Catherine Johnson on an in-depth exploration of how wines pair with food and uncover the ultimate dining experiences you have been missing!

Over eight sessions we will craft incredible appetizers from around the globe and learn how to discern which wines really make them sing. Each session features unique samplings of dishes and wines. Participants will receive a cookbook featuring the dishes we will be creating and pairing with.

Together, we’ll cover the aspects of food and wine that create excellent pairings, and learn how to avoid the pitfalls that make an excellent pairing go wrong. Please join me in some light cooking and sampling!

Course Topics:
-When to rely on classic pairings and when they can lead us astray
-Regional pairings and new ways to diversify
-Seasonal pairings
-Cheese and Charcuterie pairings

Please note that, in addition to the course fee, there is an $18 fee to cover the cost of supplies for this course. Syllabus will contain information on payment of this fee.
