Join Osher at Dartmouth for a day trip to Mountain Washington and enjoy a ride on Cog Railway.  Our ride from Lebanon will take us through the White Mountains region of Northern New Hampshire.  The ride on the Cog takes about an hour to get to the top.  Please plan on packing your lunch; you may eat your lunch on the bus or on the train ride to the top of the mountain.  Highly recommended that you bring extra layers of clothing, hats, mittens, or a blanket for the train ride as the temperature will be much cooler on the top of the Mountain.  Once the train arrives on top of Mt. Washington, we have an hour on the top of the mountain where we have planned a tour of the weather station for those that wish to join, or you may spend time on top of the mountain at your leisure.  We head back down the mountain at 2 PM, arriving at the base around 3 PM.  There we will load the bus and head over to the Omni Mt. Washington Resort where you may walk around or visit the lounge for an afternoon beverage before we head back to Lebanon.
