This course will introduce you to some of the new immigrants to the Upper Valley and to the different foods and cooking techniques in their cultures. It will include Indian, Scandinavian, Thai and Caribbean foods. The hope is that we can form new understanding of and friendships with our neighbors by “breaking bread together.” The classes will be instructional and we will use slides and videos to demonstrate. Recipes will be provided for each dish presented.

Carol has been gardening for over 50 years and was self-taught until her retirement allowed her to study Horticulture at UNH. She presently operates a small business  “Gypsy Gardener” which does consulting, garden design, and restoration as well as  field growing special varieties of perennials.
