A course designed to go in depth on the ABC's of drawing and quick sketching. In some cases traditional drawing methods become a mixture of measurements and formulas that may distract from a process that could easily be inviting and fun. This class is placed between a traditional art school and a relaxed joyful art studio approach of getting your drawing chops once and for all. Students in this course will learn to draw using different mediums, from the basic graphite pencil to vine charcoal and brush pens, even color pencils on toned paper. No stone would be left unturned. A class aimed at introducing students to crucial methods and fundamentals while learning new medium combinations of both drawing and sketching.
Eddie Nino
After undergoing disciplined and rigorous traditional training for more than15 years as an apprentice of noted art teacher Andrew Reiss in Brooklyn, NY ; and intensive full time study at the Grand Central Academy, and the Art Student’s League, Eddie launched his career as a serious fine artist and art teacher. He continues the tradition of passing along his knowledge, which can be traced back to artists such as Frank Vincent DuMond and Ted Seth Jacobs, to students of all ages in area of Fairfield County.
Eddie’s many honors and accomplishments include private commissions, solo and group shows, numerous awards from the tri-state area, and published artwork in the book: Classical Life Drawing Studio by Sterling Publishing Co., Inc.
