The long winter is over, spring has arrived, and it’s National Poetry Month! Celebrate this season of renewal and tap into your imaginative, intuitive right-brain. In this workshop, get your creative juices flowing using a variety of art and writing prompts and exercises.This is an opportunity to take time out and get playful in a supportive group environment. As an added benefit, research shows that the expressive arts boost the immune system by releasing blocked energy and reversing the stress response, which makes people feel better and able to navigate more easily through life’s ups and downs. Previous writing or drawing experience is welcome but NOT required. Required materials: a small set of oil pastels and a writing journal and/or sketchbook.
