Welcome spring into your space by creating wool butterflies using the process of needle felting also know as wool sculpting. In this class we will use a basic “painting” technique to bring out the vibrancy of the butterfly wings. Put your own spin on this project by creating a butterfly of your design or you can use a design provided. Beginners encouraged. A needle felting kit to take home and all other supplies are included. 

Amy Macy began needle felting in 2014. She imagines her designs and creates continuously as she works. She has sold her art at juried art shows. She also enjoys drawing, sewing, and painting. Amy's teaching experience includes 12 years as a professional ski instructor, for adults and children, at Stratton Mountain Resort, including advanced women skiers through Stratton's Women On Snow program. She trains new instructors and has been recognized for her contributions to Professional Ski Instructors of America.
