Class Description

Celebrate the beauty of spring by gathering nature's bounty to create prints on papers and textiles. Experiment with flowers, herbs, leaves, grasses and more while learning printing techniques, heat setting application and composition. Materials and flora will be provided although students are welcome to bring additional delights. Bring a smock.

CLAUDIA MATHISON holds a BS in Art Education from Kutztown University and teaches a wide variety of youth classes at Guilford Art Center, Wesleyan Potters, Arts For Learning CT, Lymes Youth Service Bureau and at schools and libraries throughout CT. Claudia has a passion for new and vintage textiles and teaches youth and adult quilting, sewing and textile printing classes. Claudia sells her sewn creations throughout CT.
