Explore the wide variety of nature inspired crafts from sea to shore! We'll design and sculpt clay sea creatures, paint and print with leaves and flowers, build nature sculptures and more! We'll get outside to draw inspiration from what's growing on the GAC campus and in your own backyard.

  • Reduced tuition on youth classes requires a family membership. For a full-day program, a morning class may be combined with an afternoon class. Supervised "bridge" care is available for these students, between 12-1PM, for an additional $40 per week. 

CLAUDIA MATHISON holds a BS in Art Education from Kutztown University and teaches a wide variety of youth classes at Guilford Art Center, Wesleyan Potters, Arts For Learning CT, Lymes Youth Service Bureau and at schools and libraries throughout CT. Claudia has a passion for new and vintage textiles and teaches youth and adult quilting, sewing and textile printing classes. Claudia sells her sewn creations throughout CT.
