Floor Loom Weaving: Session A

Beginners will learn the fundamentals of weaving by designing a warp, dressing a loom and weaving a sampler of plain and patterned weaves. A second project of the student’s choice and tailored to their skill will complete the term. Intermediate and advanced students receive individualized instruction and are encouraged to explore the diversity of the craft on four or eight harness looms. Beginners sampler fee of $12.00 payable in class. Bench time available.

LINDA EDWARDS holds a MFA and BFA in metals, and a BS from Kansas State University. She has taught at Wesleyan Potters, Creative Arts Workshop, Albertus Magnus, Southern Connecticut State University, Central Connecticut State University and Kansas State University. Represented in an invitational show at the Kehler Liddell Gallery, New Haven, CT and exhibits nationally.
