Stained Glass

Stained glass is an art form that has changed little since medieval times. Learn to cut and fashion different glasses into exquisite panels of brilliant color. Copper foil technique will be taught. Students can start with a simple design and graduate to more involved projects. Students will cut glass, foil and assemble pieces into windows, sun catchers, boxes, etc. Beginners as well as more experienced students are welcome. Come and experience the divine power of stained glass.

- If needed, tools and a cutting board will be assigned to each student at the beginning of the class session for students to use and take home with them for the duration of the semester. These must be returned at the end of the semester. You will not be able to use anyone else's tools.

EILEEN O’DONNELL has been a stained glass artist for over 20 years. She attended the University of Hartford, Adelphi University, and Paire School of Art. She teaches at Vijon Stained Glass Studio in Old Saybrook.
