Caregiver & Child Workshop: Signs of Spring Mandalas Session B
Youth Workshop | Available
Mandalas are designs that can be found in millions of natural structures, such as a
swirling seashell or a radiating flower. People have been creating these sacred designs for
generations in every culture as a way to meditate. Painting mandalas help us take time to
breathe, focus and quiet our minds, bringing us into the present moment. Learn all about
mandalas and create your own, incorporating Spring harbinger images. We will use
acrylic paints, canvas and natural materials such as flowers, leaves, and stones. Spend the
day with a special someone, slowing down and appreciating this meditative art process
together. Materials fee is per person. Fee payable with tuition $18.00
- Reduced tuition rates on youth classes requires family level membership.
