Students will learn about different artistic and cultural traditions throughout the continent of Africa and make a Wodaabe mirror pouch from Niger, paper beads from Egypt, A Kua-ba dolls from Ghana and much more.

  • Reduced tuition on youth classes requires family level membership.
  • For a full-day program, a morning class may be combined with an afternoon class. Supervised "bridge" care is available for these students between 12-1pm, for an additional $20 per week. These students should bring a lunch.
Bonnie Han

Bonnie Han holds BS and MS degrees in Art Education from Southern Connecticut State University. She teaches at The Art Cellar and Madison Country Day School. She is a demonstrator the Peabody Museum’s Native American Day.
