Secret Sculptures 6/30-7/3 Week 2
Youth Class | Available
This class explores the magic of finding art where you don’t expect it! Participants will learn
how to make “secret” clay sculptures to hide around the GAC grounds and around town.
Students will make slip cast “rocks” with surprises inside, a camouflage sculpture using
textures from nature, and an independent ultra top-secret final project! This class will introduce
participants to hand building and slip casting clay techniques, and include some time for
drawing and planning a scavenger hunt. Please note: NO class Friday 7/4
- Reduced tuition on youth classes requires a family membership. For a full-day program, a morning class may be combined with an afternoon class. Supervised "bridge" care is available for these students, between 12-1PM, for an additional $40 per week.
