Students will use summer botanicals to create a variety of mixed media artworks. Students can work on paper and /or on 3 dimensional surfaces such as wood , glass, ceramic ,cardboard , recycled tin cans and other found objects. A variety of materials to explore will be provided such as; inks, acrylics, various glues, flowers ,leaves,grasses and different kinds of papers. Students may bring in ideas, materials ,images, and objects that interest them. If you like to experiment , recycle and summer botanicals , this class is for you! (Teens are welcome!) I typically provide materials and ideas and examples. I foster students with encouragement and guidance and allow them to explore their own styles and inner intuitive artistic methods.
