Learn to Paint a David Hockney Landscape
Adult | This class is completed
David Hockney is masterful at capturing the essence of a scene. We’ll follow his process and break things down to big shapes, a simplified color palette and fabulous mark making to keep the drawings of Hockney’s surroundings feeling alive and joyful. We will try the same playful approaches in our own pages with guided exercises. Landscape painting can feel overwhelming - but with a few simple techniques, you can bring a touch of Hockney magic into your own artwork. This class has a required materials list.
